Card making ideas
Crafts July 8th, 2008There are plenty of free card making ideas in the Internet but if you want to be creative you can invent one on your own. A birthday card I wanted to create seemed to be impossible to make but it soon turned out that my imagination and skills are good enough for making handmade cards.
I have recently had some free time and engaged myself in some ‘paper work’ to kill the time when I no longer wanted to read books. I thought that I will find something about card making but I actually was impressed to see so much information and ideas connected with card making. At first, I thought I would create a postcard from my holidays at home (so far) but soon I promised myself to produce several cards for birthdays of my closest ones. I decided to base the whole card on the star sign my fiance is, and of course, I decided not to use any printables but draw something on my own. Of course I wanted to gather as many ideas as possible so as to inspire myself and invent something which he would like. As he is so keen on cars, their maintenance and repairs I even bought a special magazine with pictures of various car parts. For me, obviously, it says next to nothing but I guess I’ll manage to have an appropriate card done. I printed several our pictures we keep storing on our computer and found ribbons of perfect color. That is why I think I will manage to have a perfect birthday card. The sites which I found really helpful include: Handyhippo.co.uk, Save-on-crafts, Imag-e-nation and Card-Making-World.
If I was to be given a birthday card, I would choose the one at the top of this page.
