Weekly cleaning chores
Cleaning No Comments »Household chores may seem to be a Herculean task but with a cleaning plan and a list for chores to do weekly you can create a clean and neat surrounding for you and your family. How to do that?
You should clean often. Many of the helpful products on the market are fantastic for keeping a home clean but not quite drastic enough for cleaning up a dirty one. Getting dirt off is hard work whereas it’s easy to wipe over walls or doors in an odd half hour just to prevent the dirt from settling. At first, choose the priority and try to do the rest as often as you can. Every day:
- clear out rubbish
- burn paper
- shake doormats
- wash up
- vacuum
Your house needs polishing and dusting at least once a week. To clean effectively you can create a plan for removing dirt from all parts of your house. Every week you should follow the rules:
1. Open the windows
2. Remove flowers, empty ashtrays, waste-paper baskets, etc.
3. Vacuum curtains, upholstery and carpets.
4. Mop and polish the surrounds.
5. Dust window ledges, wainscotting and all polished furniture. Polish where necessary.
6. Shake the rugs before replacing them.
In the bedroom you should:
1. Strip and air the bed. Dust, brush and vacuum the bedstead and mattress. Make the bed.
2. Remove all ornaments from dressing-table and lay them on a newspaper on the bed; cover with dust-sheet.
3. Shake the curtains.
4. Vacuum the carpet or shake the rugs out of doors.
5. Mop and polish floor surrounds.
6. Dust and polish furniture.
7. Replace everything.
