Weekly cleaning chores

Cleaning No Comments »

Household chores may seem to be a Herculean task but with a cleaning plan and a list for chores to do weekly you can create a clean and neat surrounding for you and your family. How to do that?

Clean living room

You should clean often. Many of the helpful products on the market are fantastic for keeping a home clean but not quite drastic enough for cleaning up a dirty one. Getting dirt off is hard work whereas it’s easy to wipe over walls or doors in an odd half hour just to prevent the dirt from settling. At first, choose the priority and try to do the rest as often as you can. Every day:

- clear out rubbish

- burn paper

- shake doormats

- wash up

- vacuum

Your house needs polishing and dusting at least once a week. To clean effectively you can create a plan for removing dirt from all parts of your house. Every week you should follow the rules:

1. Open the windows

2. Remove flowers, empty ashtrays, waste-paper baskets, etc.

3. Vacuum curtains, upholstery and carpets.

4. Mop and polish the surrounds.

5. Dust window ledges, wainscotting and all polished furniture. Polish where necessary.

6. Shake the rugs before replacing them.

In the bedroom you should:

1. Strip and air the bed. Dust, brush and vacuum the bedstead and mattress. Make the bed.

2. Remove all ornaments from dressing-table and lay them on a newspaper on the bed; cover with dust-sheet.

3. Shake the curtains.

4. Vacuum the carpet or shake the rugs out of doors.

5. Mop and polish floor surrounds.

6. Dust and polish furniture.

7. Replace everything.

How to buy a wedding gown

wedding gowns
I was recently thinking about how to choose the perfect wedding gown for me. I’m planning a wedding now and I just need to find a dress that would be perfect for me. I need something unique and something which I will look good at. There are so many dresses available on the market that I can barely find a differences between them, yet, they are so different. Similar models make me look either strangely or gracefully. I wanted to have a short wedding gown but it turned out that short dresses look as though it was normal occasion. I told my fiance that the moment I decide I don’t look great enough, we’re not going to have any wedding anymore. We’ll see what happens. Any suggestions girls? I have so plenty of ideas and I don’t know how I should start.

How to buy a great wedding gown then?

Card making ideas

A birthday card

There are plenty of free card making ideas in the Internet but if you want to be creative you can invent one on your own. A birthday card I wanted to create seemed to be impossible to make but it soon turned out that my imagination and skills are good enough for making handmade cards.

I have recently had some free time and engaged myself in some ‘paper work’ to kill the time when I no longer wanted to read books. I thought that I will find something about card making but I actually was impressed to see so much information and ideas connected with card making. At first, I thought I would create a postcard from my holidays at home (so far) but soon I promised myself to produce several cards for birthdays of my closest ones. I decided to base the whole card on the star sign my fiance is, and of course, I decided not to use any printables but draw something on my own. Of course I wanted to gather as many ideas as possible so as to inspire myself and invent something which he would like. As he is so keen on cars, their maintenance and repairs I even bought a special magazine with pictures of various car parts. For me, obviously, it says next to nothing but I guess I’ll manage to have an appropriate card done. I printed several our pictures we keep storing on our computer and found ribbons of perfect color. That is why I think I will manage to have a perfect birthday card. The sites which I found really helpful include: Handyhippo.co.uk, Save-on-crafts, Imag-e-nation and Card-Making-World.

If I was to be given a birthday card, I would choose the one at the top of this page.
